An impressive tasting to say the least, with our judges seduced by Western elegance, particularly in the younger wines, as well as by savoury, mature Cabernets from South Australia. See the top 49 wines including 7 Outstanding Australian Cabernets here...

Attractively sweet dark cassis, mulberry and liquorice fragrance. Structural, punchy style with intense, persistent fruit with a silky textural quality thanks to fine-grained tannins. A Margaret River red that’s stood the test of time and should continue to do so for a while yet.
