Open, ripe, forward nose. Nicely concentrated blackcurrant fruit with rich Christmas cake fruit aromas. This isn’t subtle but it has vigour, structure, a good spicy grip on the finish, a natural sweetness and very good length with a slight St-Estèphe leatheriness.
