Pine needle, bacon, redcurrant, pepper and clove on the nose. Ripe, almost sweet, silky in texture, yet still showing attractive acidity, with lovely stony minerality underpinning the black fruit core. Vibrant and charming – a countrystyle wine with an agreeable sense of terroir.
