A positive reaction from our experts to these versatile, approachable and affordable wines, with the 2010 vintage edging the 2011 thanks to their ripeness balanced by refreshing acidity. Intense, spicy nose, with floral aromas of lavender and iris mingling with red cherry. Meaty and complex with grippy tannins and delicious cherry and strawberry flavours lifted by bright acids. Not a blockbuster but pretty, floral and will give early pleasure.
