17.75/20pts (92/100pts)
This is Concha y Toro’s flagship old-vine Carmenere, spliced with 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc. The bottle is macho, and so is the wine – an inky black, hugely rich and powerful red that’s so spicy and impressively concentrated it comes in opulent slabs of liquid blueberry and black cherry.
