De Martino, Viejas Tinajas Cinsault, Itata 2012
16.75/20pts (89/100pts)
From organic vineyards close to the Pacific, this is a pure Cinsault made from 50-year-old bush vines in age-old amphorae (tinajas) of different sizes, the result being a wine with a clean, pure cherry-raspberry-herby scent and equally plenty of juicy raspberry and summer-pudding fruit with bright damsony acidity.
