Lanson's vintage Champagnes come essentially from Grand Cru vineyards - Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Mesnil and Oger for Chardonnay and Ay, Ambonnay, Bouzy, Mailly, Verzenay and Verzy for Pinot Noir - with an average over the 21 year spread (1976-1996) of 52%-48% in favour of Pinot Noir, with the exception of 1982 which was 60%/40%. The date of disgorgement and the level of 'dosage' is noted against the wines.
