To celebrate the 200th anniversary of vintage Champagne, Clicquot's new cellarmaster Dominique Demarville recently conducted a tasting in London of five older vintages just re-released under the
'Cave Privée' banner. This builds upon Clicquot's now sold-out 'Rare' collection (two extremely uncommon vintages, the 1988 and rosé 1985) and
comes in a variety of bottle formats, including the 1990 vintage in jeroboam. Giles Fallowfield was in London to try out the newly available line-up.
