Forceful and pronounced Italian Zinfandel with a cherry-liquorice, tarry nose. Further smoky cherry fruit form the backbone of the palate, which also displays a pleasing savoury facet and a sage leaf finish. A wine with good personality, a very strong sense of place and very, very good value.
