This is a gutsy Gamay which, on the nose, delivers plenty of chocolatey, Black Forest gateau aromas and a slightly wild, gamey note. The muscled nature of this Beaujolais is emphasised by more than a touch of tannin, countered by plenty of attractive, primary red fruits. Drink 2007/8. £7.99
