(Rioja Alta) Stony, vanilla oak, spice, farmyard, rich damson and black cherry bouquet. A leaner style with lovely rich fruit, big tannins and a touch of tobacco. Acidity is high and oak is dominant yet it is balanced. Plump and youthful, elegant wine. Drink from 2012. Alc: 13.5%. (16.67 points)
