A lovely 100% Tempranillo from the cooler sub-region of Rioja Alavesa and from 30- to 40-year-old vines. It has plenty of cranberry and redcurrant notes, with nice weight to a palate which delivers hints of dried flowers, in an overlying refreshing manner. Alc: 13%. (16.5 points)
