It's always welcome when a producer famed for its high-end wines shows enough dexterity to be able to make wines for a more modest price bracket. Very balanced, the nose is nutty with toasty oak and ripe fruit. The palate is balanced, clean and admirably long. You'd be hard pressed to source a better value Burgundy than this. £8.99
