Tasting notes

Sweet fleshy aromas of red apple, spice, complex oak, rose, tar, herb and liquorice. A hugely energetic wine with lots of power coiled up inside. Precise, elegant and very, very good. It has super-chewy, gripping tannins and a long, red fruit finish. Drink: 2012-2018. Alc: 14.5%. (17 points)
