Using grapes sourced from Baixo Corgo (the Douro Valley's most westerly wine-growing region), this wine is full of vigour, with punchy primary dark fruit aromas and a medicinal twist. The flavours are similarly robust, with plenty of black cherries, purple fruit and a dash of white pepper. Drink up to 2012. £12.80
