2006 Chanson Père & Fils, Chassagne-Montrachet

Born in the mid-18th Century, Chanson possesses a good deal of Burgundian heritage. Its %u201906 Chassagne is a classy, toasty number with a pleasing evolution on the nicely-weighted palate. There%u2019s a definite seam of minerality running through the fleshy fruit and oak character, and the wine as a whole is a very solid package.
