2005 Chateau la Serre, Grand Cru Classe, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Vintage: 2005

Tasting notes

Sweet, ripe blackberry nose. Rich, succulent, lush texture. Concentrated and tannic. Great potential. Powerful, long chewy finish. Drink 2010-16. (15.8 points)

Robust tannins, full body, classic truffle and spicy undertones of the 'plateau' part of the appellation, well made but no special individuality. Drink from 2015. (15 points)
