Tasting notes

Superb black-red colour, big, almost velvety depth with violets on the nose, very expressive fruit while also being quite restrained, the opposite of exotic, firm, even slightly old-fashioned in its purity and severity of expression, a very fine vineyard wine for mid to long term. Drink 2015-30. (18.5 points - Steven Spurrier)

Black-red colour, big, almost velvety, violets on the nose, expressive while also being quite restrained, firm, even slightly old-fashioned compared to the explosion of fruit in recent years, a wine of immense purity and great length and breed. Drink 2015-30. (18.5 points)
