Deep, deep purple, brilliant. One of the highest levels ever of
polyphenols - more than 05. Nose pruny, rich, plummy. Palate has wonderful depth
of fruit and richness of flavour. Black cherries, plums, prunes,
blackcurrants. Densely fruity. Big, big tannins but integrated and fine. Tight structure. Wonderful length. Firm finish, but very velvety tannins. 2016-51. (tasted by Beverley Blanning MW)
