Serious, brooding wine but restrained. Big extraction
without excess use of new oak. Dark damson fruit, slightly dusty tannins but deep
earthiness. Refreshing that a wine can be extracted if there is the depth of fruit without new oak dominating. Fruit and not oak provides the structure. Up to 8+ years. (ND)
