The core of the château is built on the ruins of a 12th century Benedictine priory. This 2008 has a nose of dried herbs with liquorice and black cherry. In the mouth it's powerful and tight with more dark, earthy fruit conuntered by freshness and a long finish. Alc: 13%. (17 points)
