Huge colour. Fine, robust fruit and very pure chestnutty flavours sing through with an almost explosive force, finishing with elegance and power. Could be enjoyed now, but this is really a five-to-ten year wine.

Rustic nose with wild strawberry bouquet and hints of violets. Robust, with good complexity, firm tannic structure. Very well-integrated oak.
