Something of a Tuscan mammoth, Piccini is responsible for a sizeable proportion of Chianti's entire output. This impressively titled Sangiovese has an enveloping, velvety and spicy nose with violet highlights. It's well structured, with crunchy red fruit punching through the smoothly textured palate.
