Hailing from the eastern Languedoc, this blend of Syrah and Grenache has a warm, slightly baked nose with a hint of dried oranges. It displays a wonderful sense of place on the palate with dense, dark fruit accompanying an attractive peppery twist and a hint of liquorice. Drink up to 2011. £8
