Tasting notes

Lush, brooding, oaky cherry nose, opulent fruit. Rich and concentrated, dense but not too extracted. Has limpidity, with fine acidity and zest. A luxurious style, a sumptuous texture and a long, fresh finish (Stephen Brook). Ripe, with fine complexity, a lovely nose; full bodied, creamy. Fruit and structure melt together; elegant, firmly tannic length (Anthony Hanson MW). A perfumed bouquet mixing deep red fruit and spicy oak, along with crushed strawberries of some whole bunches used in the fermentation. Lively on the palate and leaves a beautiful perfume at the back. A delicious and intriguing wine (Jasper Morris MW). Alc: 13.5%. Drink 2013-2038. 18.75 points/20 (95 pts/100)
