Tasting notes
10/02/2013
Lavish cherry fruit on the nose, sumptuous and fleshy. Rich, super-ripe, intense, fine acidity, taut - a racy style despite the evident ripeness. The fruit is splendid, the oak well handled and the finish lifted. Delicious (Stephen Brook). Fragrant fruit, spicy and fresh; has powerful structure. Rich, succulent, intense fruit, fresh aftertaste (Anthony Hanson MW). Attractive mid-palate with a sensual, stylish, red fruit nose showing ripe fruit. A pleasing density, some nobility of fruit, a deft touch of oak on the palate and good length. Succulent, with lovely fragrance at the finish. Alc: 13.5%. Drink 2013-2035. 18.5pts/20 (95/100)
