Etienne Gonnet is known for his Châteauneuf-du-Pape property, Domaine Font de Michelle. This wine may not enjoy the prestige of that appellation, but it has plenty of southern Rhône character, with plump, deep and juicy red fruit, firm liquorice notes and a scattering of herbs and spice.
