<li> an elegant, classy wine <li> one to keep for a couple of years <br><br> After a long series of indifferent wines, Gundlach Bundschu has returned from the dead and could be making lots of noise if its other new wines are as interesting as this 1999

Mix of rose petal, dried cherry and cranberry aromas set the stage for a charming wine. Supple, soft, velvety, but well structured, it has light toasty, smoky, herbal notes for complexity. Should peak in 2-3 years, but likely to be a pleasant surprise aft
