With an Australian winemaker at the helm, it%u2019s no surprise this is a lesson in modern, faultless winemaking. Cabernet Sauvignon is the only international intruder in this otherwise indigenous blend. The oak is finely knitted into the fabric of the wine, providing a strong supporting role for the black cherries, crushed red fruits and plums, which are topped with the odd pinch of spice. Very classy. 16/20
