Touraine might be the last place you would look for Malbec but the Loire is now making some fine examples. Here, the nose is packed with crunchy red fruit, blueberry and blackberry. The fresh palate is lighter in body than Argentinian Malbec, with brisk acidity, grippy tannins and a peppery, earthy finsih. Alc: 12%. (18 points)
