In a Cabernet Franc year this really is the ticket (80% in the blend). Possibly one of the finest owner Jonathan Maltus has made. Lighter handling has given it a finer, less monolithic feel. Reserved but fresh and poised on the nose. Dense fruit on the palate with dark/red fruit and violet notes. Real length and persistence. At perfect pitch for the vintage. Drink 2018-2030.
