Tasting notes

27/09/2010

On land first planted with vines in the 1870s (though overhauled in the 1960s), this estate has forged a reputation as one of Australia's finest exponents of Shiraz. This is dry, classy and finely structured, with ripe but ashy blueberry fruits, ink, iodine and violets. (17 points)
