This producer carried off an Australian Red Rhone Varietals trophy at Decanter%u2019s 2008 World Wine Awards for its Greenock Shiraz, so clearly it has plenty of strength in depth. The Gomersal is no wallflower with a dark, roasted nut nose topped with lashings of chocolate and crystallised violets. The super-smooth palate follows similar lines with plenty of vibrant fruit and a cocoa dust finish.
