Produced by a winery that has a significant presence in Languedoc %u2013 setting up shop in the late 19th Century - this is a delightfully brisk Marsanne. For the price it boasts plenty of character, with a fleshy, broad nose showing honey, nectarine and herbaceous hints. To taste, it%u2019s juicy and mineral, with a suggestion of other tropical fruit and a pleasing texture which is weighty but never cloying. Harmonious with a long finish. 16/20
