Edoardo Seghesio planted his first Zinfandel vineyard in 1895; today the estate is run by Ted Seghesio, the fourth generation. This is beautifully rich with aromas of red cherry, strawberry and herbs. Despite its power, it's medium bodied with a velvety texture and fine minerality. Drink 2009-14. (£19.95)
