Tasting notes

Dessicated coconut, vanilla, chocolate and orange. Rich, silky palate with lovely emerging tannins and acidity. Coffee, liquorice and concentration. Drink 2013-18. (16.66 points)

The second vintage from an Australian-British winemaking partnership is even better than the splendid 2004: massive colour - a cross between the best of the Douro and the northern Rhone, with added flesh, richness and spice. Perferct around 2010. £45
