The property from which this fruit is picked was, allegedly, before the French Revolution, a meeting place for philosophers and their ilk. This is a suitably distinguished wine, with clean lines and understated finesse. It shows graceful white flower notes, an underlying creaminess and a lovely, well harnessed, intensiity of fruit. Long, long finish as well.

(Gold) Exotic, floral, toasty and spicy, very fine bubbles - quite beguiling!
