Bordeaux 2007 – Médoc & Haut-Médoc

by Steven Spurrier. The most northern of the Médoc's wines from this late-ripening region were often lean and green in the distant past, but today’s châteaux have the determination (and often the money) to rise above climatic adversity. Generally nice, straightforward wines, most with good vineyard character.
