Founded by legend Joseph Swan in 1967, this Russian River winery is famous for Pinot Noir. The Chardonnays are also unique, as proved by a magnificent 1977. The lemony-yellow 2003 has a Batard-Montrachet nose, pure vineyard fruit, great length and perfect balance. A 20-year wine (2025).
