Rebecca Gergely is a judge at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2019.

Rebecca Gergely

Born in Paris, Rebecca Gergely’s wine career started in 2006 after graduating from the Sorbonne in International Economics. She then went backpacking in the US and coincidentally had her first job in California as an intern for a French wine Importer.

After returning to France, Rebecca joined a few French wineries as an Export Manager, and moved to London in 2011 where she worked first for PLB and then Charles Taylor Wines.

Rebecca then set up her own company, La Marchande, importing French wines for the premium UK on-trade. She later joined Enotria & Coe, and is now in charge of French and Fine Wine Buying.
