Château Doisy-Védrines, Sauternes, 2ème Cru Classé, 2012

Vibrant sweet wine with freshness and lift. This medium-bodied Barsac has good intensity and mid palate weight with 135 gm/l residual sugar. It is not a blockbuster but there is freshness here with lifted floral notes. Yields were low – 10 hl/ha; about 30,000 bottles will be made this year.
