Vigorous, structured wine showing intense minerality. Tremendous depth of fruit. Tight, firm structure. Long, fresh finish. Don't be in a rush.

Milk chocolate and perfumed red fruits (raspberries and strawberries) on the nose, smells floral. Good juiciness on the palate but a little spicy too, not massively weightly but it has a good persistence of flavour and concentration. Linear and focussed, all delivered in one line. Still some tension here, the tannins are gently grippy with cinnamon and cloves edges to the fruit. Long finish, still with a bit of heat. You know this is a big wine that has seen lots of oak and that is covering most of the fruit still at this point. Give it another few years.
