Dominique Piron, Beaujolais, Villages, Burgundy, 2014

Tasted by: Christelle Guibert
From 50-year-old Gamay located on the slopes of the Colline du Py, this is a classic style with luscious red cherry fruit aromas. While it is fresh and quaffable, with crunchy fresh berry fruits, it has plenty of grip and complexity to rival some of the Beaujolais crus.
