Jackhammer, Pinot Noir 2013
The grapes for this wine are sourced from cool climate sites in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara in Central Valley and the result is aged for 11 months in used French oak barrels. Value Pinot Noirs are hard to find, especially at this standard, and while the fruit is the main emphasis it is also complex and balanced with a pure red cherry and raspberry fruit intensity. An elegant and gorgeous Pinot.
