If Usain Bolt enjoyed the £80,000, 15-litre Nebuchadnezzar of Ace of Spades he was served at London nightclub Movida after breaking the world record for the 4 x 100 metre relay at this year’s Olympics, he should visit this small house in Chigny-les-Roses and ask to buy a few magnums of Cattier Brut Premier Cru 1993, which is infinitely better quality and much, much cheaper. This vintage was made by Jean-Jacques Cattier from 35% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 30% Pinot Meunier, with a dosage of 8g/l.
