Jane Anson

Blend of 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot. Owner Jean-Noël Belloc has a property in Pessac-Léognan and another in Sauternes, but this is the first that came into the family’s ownership three generations ago. The tannins are a touch underripe, giving a lean mid-palate, despite having an attractive crunchy red fruit character, and some soft spicing on the finish.
