An excellent wine from one of the most reliable Graves producers. Three Guignard brothers run this estate, with Dominique Guignard as winemaker. The blend is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, aged in barrel for 18 months with 25% new oak. A beautiful ripeness to the tannins is on display here, clear persistency and clean lift on the finish. One of the most southerly properties in the Graves, but the gravel soils have allowed full ripeness from the late season in 2014.
