Andrew Jefford

Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay

Pale green gold in colour. Subtle and refined scents, though oak takes the lead over shy fruit. Tangy, bright, barley-sugar fruit balanced by lots of searching acidity. True to its cool origins, but rather stressful to drink much of.

Roger Jones

Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay

Ripe and savoury on the nose, soft delicate multi-layered on the palate with secondary fruit of apricots, and sweet pineapple, hints of toasty brioche on the finish. Clean and refreshing but with lovely texture, very precise wine which will age well, like a Meursault.

Alessandro Marchesan

Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay

Elegant barrel fermented, complex nose with delicate fruit character. Creamy texture but with well balanced acidity and long ripe red citrus fruit aftertaste. Complex, elegant and powerful.
