Stephen Brook

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010

Robust, oaky black fruits nose. Rich, full-bodied, generous and concentrated, with plenty of spice and vigour, thanks to keen acidity. A well balanced wine with plenty of energy and flair. Good length and some mocha on the finish.

Ronan Sayburn MS

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010

Nose delicate and youthful, subdued fruit, dense dark and brooding, big palate, warm and earthy cassis, solid chocolate like tannins.

Steven Spurrier

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010

Purple-red and purple rim, quite lifted black currant fruit, good smoothness of fruit on the palate, quite rich and quite spicy, lots of young Cabernet/Merlot flavours, still a bit raw but has depth and charm to come.
