Château Dasvin Bel Air 2012

This Cru Bourgeois estate produces about 100,000 bottles a year from its 17 hectares of mainly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot on gravel soils in the Haut-Médoc. The wine spends about 12 months in French oak barrels (15% new) and now, with a bit of maturity, it shows juicy, savoury plums, ripe blackcurrants and appealing, dusty tannins. Drinking well.
